On the internet I found many free packs, racks, synths, impulse responses, samples of everything as well as many tutorials on youtube, and tricks to get cool sounds. I also tried the vast “Komplete”, “Zebra”, and every other plug-in I could find. I spent many hours figuring out how to use those sounds effectively. I saw too many possibilities and I was completely overwhelmed. Not so long after, I started having problems composing because of that. Therefore, I think that when one has too many options it becomes difficult to concretize.
Later on, my advisor mentioned how good compositions and great results can be achieved from restricted sources.
