This project is the final result of my academic year at NMH.
On this project I try to put together details from the electronic music and the musicality of working as a band. The process and the final results have been completely different from what I expected. Playing with a drummer can give a lot of energy to the performance. I wanted to use that, so I asked Gilbert, who has a deep understanding of the roots of the folk music of my country. We have made a subtle mix of these three elements; Cuban-Electronics-Drums.
I think that it is very comfortable to play with only audio effects. However, when playing an instrument and controlling synths or effects at the same time as other automations are running accompanied by drums, one needs to be concerned about one thing; synchrony. This project is exciting!
